Since it began, the Walk has enjoyed patronage of distinguished citizens from different fields, students, professionals as well as expats and diplomats. Over 10,000+ walkers participate every year from Celebrities, Politicians, diplomats, bureaucrats and policy makers.
At the walk we have a special ‘Lap of Honour’ for cancer survivors to applaud their courage and to break the silence around cancer.
We have also had the great pleasure of having some very eminent people take part in the walk in the past namely: Smt. Gursharan Kaur, wife of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Jeanie Mulford and David Mulford, former US Ambassador to India, Smt. Sangeeta Jaitley wife of Late Shri. Arun Jaitley, former Finance Minister, Late Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Brinda Karat, Rajya Sabha Member, Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, Manish Sisodia, Sharmila Tagore, Mira Nair, Manisha Koirala, Rahul Bose, Ritu Kumar, Vasavi Bharat Ram, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shashank Arora and Dr Randeep Guleria.
Walk with us once again on Sunday, 4 February 2024 in support of cancer patients and their caregivers.
We especially call out to the youth to come forward and support this event and support the cause of cancer care. Here’s your chance to become an ambassador of CanSupport by supporting this event.
All funds raised through this fundraising event will be used to provide free of charge palliative care to cancer patients in our care.
